Over his career, Shekhar has arranged debt financing exceeding Rs 80,000 crore for companies across diverse sectors including shipbuilding, aviation, EPC, steel, sugar, telecom, textile, SEZs, real estate, logistics, hospitality, and retail. He was also nominated to the SBI War Room, a specialized team of SBI senior management and SBICAPS officials focused on streamlining debt resolution and negotiating with investors including private equity funds for asset sales.
